Winter, 2025 Calliope Village is closed for the season, but you can always take a virtual tour of the Village.

The Village grounds are open year round so enjoy a walking tour and listen to building histories using the QR code by each door.
Calliope Village is our main attraction and the site where most of our events are held. The Village is open select dates.

ANNUAL EVENTS: Labor Day weekend activities.
ADDRESS: Highway 10 and 19th Street and is located on Highway 10 going out of Hawarden towards South Dakota. The majority of the buildings are handicapped accessible.

ADDRESS: 803 Avenue H and is located just one block east of downtown. This is our only facility that is temperature controlled throughout the year. The Historical House is also handicapped accessible, with the exception of the 2nd floor.
