THE BIG EVENT!!! The Hawarden Area Arts Council is partnering with D&I Railroad, LG Everist, and the Hawarden Historical Society for the 3rd annual HOLIDAY EXPRESS TRAIN RIDE! The train will be leaving from Calliope Village at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, and 5:00. All tickets have been sold, but everyone is welcome to visit and shop at the Vendor Market!

 

Don’t miss the Holiday Lights Parade, sponsored by the Hawarden Chamber, starting at 6:30 PM. The parade will take place along Central Avenue, heading towards 11th Street.

Calliope Village is our main attraction and the site where most of our events are held. The Village is open select dates.

ADDRESS: Highway 10 and 19th Street and is located on Highway 10 going out of Hawarden towards South Dakota. The majority of the buildings are handicapped accessible.

ADDRESS: 803 Avenue H and is located just one block east of downtown.  This is our only facility that is temperature controlled throughout the year.  The Historical House is also handicapped accessible, with the exception of the 2nd floor.
