Calliope Village to Open for 2019 Season
HAWARDEN, IA – The Hawarden Historical Society has announced some big changes coming for the 2019 season. The Hawarden Historical Society, formerly called Big Sioux River Valley Historical Society has decided to shorten its name and has developed a new logo.
“We shortened our name a couple years ago and now the new logo helps us continue to bring a recognizable identity,” said Carol Frerichs, Historical Society Member.
Calliope Village will be open to the public on the first Sunday of every month from 1:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m. during June, July, and August. They will also be open for special events through out the summer.
“We are excited about our events coming up through out the season, and of course excited for the Calliope Store to reopen on Labor Day!” said Frerichs.
